Project Description

Deek Duke is a compact 60 m² commercial food-and-beverage outlet in Shufat, Jerusalem, delivered by Sorri Engineering under a single point of responsibility covering both design and general contracting. The design was developed in-house by our Design Department around the brand's identity, weaving its signature colors, logo placement, menu panels, and visual language into every surface so the space reads as the brand itself. Within a limited footprint, the layout was carefully planned to separate the back-of-house production kitchen from the front service counter and customer flow, ensuring smooth movement for staff and a clear, welcoming experience for customers. Mechanical and electrical systems were fully designed and integrated — dedicated kitchen exhaust and makeup-air ventilation, fresh-air and drainage distribution, and a tailored electrical layout sized to power the cooking equipment, refrigeration, and lighting. Kitchen equipment and appliances were selected and coordinated to match the menu's workflow: grills, fryers, refrigeration, and preparation tables positioned for efficiency and food safety. All works were executed to meet Ministry of Health standards and approvals, with food-grade stainless steel surfaces, proper drainage, accessible cleaning, and a clear hygienic separation between raw and cooked zones. Material selections balance durability, hygiene, and the brand's aesthetic — stainless steel for the kitchen, easy-to-clean wall cladding and flooring, and branded finishes at the customer-facing counter. The result is a modern, efficient, and fully compliant dining and take-away space that embodies the Deek Duke brand while supporting seamless daily operations.
